A large national FM and maintenance company is seeking an experienced Subcontractor/Planner to be based at a large static site in and around Essex, specifically in Basildon (CM11 2UF). This is a permanent, full-time role offering a salary of up to £27,500 per annum. Please note, there is no hybrid working available.
Due to ongoing growth, we are recruiting a Customer Service Planner to join our team at Barleylands.
About the Role
As part of our team, you will manage high volumes of calls, liaising with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and supervisors to schedule appointments. Your goal will be to ensure jobs are scheduled effectively to meet contractual Service Level Agreements, avoiding false promises. You will interact with residents via various communication methods including telephony and email.
Using our MSi system, you will assign available operatives and subcontractors to jobs, discuss complex repairs, and handle demanding customers or service failures, aiming to instill confidence and trust.
Responsibilities
* Previous administration experience.
* Proven scheduling/planning experience within social housing or contractor repairs environments.
* Effective communication skills with operatives, subcontractors, and residents.
* Basic knowledge of building maintenance, including task durations.
* Understanding of work sequencing and concurrency in planning.
* Ability to prioritize tasks and manage ongoing jobs within targets.
* Experience handling high volumes of customer repair inquiries.
* Strong written and verbal English skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Excellent organizational and communication skills across different stakeholder levels.
* Passion for service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Note: This role requires working from our office at Barleylands; hybrid working is not available.
