Join us as an AVP within our Legal Supplier Management (LSM) team at Barclays
This team manages all aspects of Barclays' engagement with legal vendors, including:
* Panel strategy and management
* Legal instruction processes
* Financial reporting
* Temporary resourcing
* Technology use and innovation
* Project management of major matters
The legal function aims to optimize value from the bank’s legal suppliers and maintain cost controls. In 2025, the legal supplier panel will be refreshed, and the Legal Supplier Manager will collaborate with lawyers, business areas, sourcing, and legal suppliers to deliver this project. They will also handle ongoing operational requirements in line with the existing supplier management framework.
Key skills required:
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
* Ability to analyze data and communicate insights effectively
* Strong communication skills and experience with senior stakeholders
* Experience in fast-paced environments with good prioritization skills
This role may assess skills such as risk management, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital skills, and technical expertise.
This position is based in Glasgow and is a 12-month fixed-term contract.
Purpose of the role
To manage and monitor supplier risk and performance, ensuring compliance with Barclays' Third Party Service Provider policies and standards through control execution, commercial management, and relationship management.
