Driver Hire Gatwick are pleased to advertise for a CLASS 2 HGV plant and machinery delivery driver. The role will include delivering and collecting plant and machinery between the client depot and client location (both residential or commercial)
As well as a full UK Class 2 driving license, you will need to have a “Plant Moving and Strapping Down Certificate”
What you will need
1. Full UK Class 2 driving license
2. In date CPC and tacho card
3. No more than 6 penalty points on your license
4. No DD, IN or other serious offenses
5. Experience using a beaver tail
What will be expected of you
6. Professional attitude to driving
7. Good customer service with well spoken English
8. Daily vehicle checks, reporting any defects when necessary
9. Safe loading/unloading of plant and machinery
What you can expect
10. £18 per hour umbrella
11. Ongoing work with the possibility of temp to perm for the right candidate
12. weekly pay
