Payroll Administrator – 6684
Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum DOE.
Location: Skelmersdale.
Contract Type: Permanent, full-time.
About the Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a motivated and detail-focused Payroll Administrator to join a supportive team in Skelmersdale.
Responsibilities
* Support with collating and processing timesheets into accounting software
* Assist with inputting payable hours including overtime and uplifts based on contract entitlements
* Help prepare payroll information and process data within the payroll module
* Work with the Payroll Manager to gather and organise payroll information for foreign subsidiaries
* Assist with preparing payroll tax information and payments
* Support pension and auto-enrolment administration as required
* Assist with shadow payroll administration
* Maintain accuracy and confidentiality across all payroll documentation
Skills & Experience Required
* Previous payroll experience required
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to stay focused during busy periods
* Confident using Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel (a short Excel test may be required)
* Good numerical ability with an analytical approach
* Able to work independently with minimal supervision
* Excellent communication skills
* High level of discretion when handling confidential information
