This is a chance to lead exciting projects, mentor talented engineers, and make a real impact on infrastructure developments across the South Coast.The RoleYou will oversee drainage, SuDS, and highways (S278/S38) projects from concept to completion. This is a hands:on leadership role where youll guide a team, manage client relationships, and ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards.Key Responsibilities: * Lead design and delivery of civil engineering projects, including drainage, external works, and highways schemes * Prepare technical reports and Flood Risk Assessments * Manage project resources, budgets, and deadlines * Represent the consultancy at meetings with clients, architects, and local authorities * Mentor and support junior engineers, providing training and feedback * Assist in business development and fee proposal preparationAbout You * Degree or HND in Civil Engineering * Minimum 5 years experience in consultancy * Incorporated Engineer (IEng) or working towards * Strong experience in SuDS and drainage design * Proficient in AutoCAD, Site 3D, and software such as InfoDrainage, Causeway Flow, or MicroDrainage * Experience managing multidisciplinary projects and client engagement * Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skillsDesirable: * S278/S38 highway design experience * Previous line management or team leadership * Business development experienceWhy JoinThis consultancy is people:focused, collaborative, and technically excellent.
