We’re a fast-growing, fun, and ambitious recruitment company specialising in hiring commercial positions within the Cyber Security Industry.
The Role
We’re looking for a bookkeeper who understands the unique financial flow of a recruitment businesses. You’ll help us keep our accounts in top shape, ensuring everything is accurate, compliant, and ready for smooth reporting. This is a part-time, flexible role - ideal for someone who wants to work with a collaborative team but maintain their freedom.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for our recruitment operations
* Reconcile bank statements, invoices, and expense reports
* Track contractor payments, permanent placement invoices, and client billing cycles
* Handle VAT returns and liaise with our accountant
* Maintain accurate financial records in line with HMRC requirements
* Provide monthly P&L and cash flow reports for leadership
What We’re Looking For
* Proven bookkeeping experience (freelance or employed)
* 2+ years experience
* Knowledge of recruitment industry financial processes (contractor payroll, perm placement invoicing, rebates, etc.)
* Strong understanding of Xero (or similar cloud-based accounting software)
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Able to work independently and meet deadlines
* UK-based, with working knowledge of UK accounting and tax requirements
