Job description: Home Name: Hutton Manor Location: Pudsey, Leeds Contract Type: Permanent, Nights. 3 0n 3 off shift pattern. Days 4 one week, 3 the next. To ensure residents retain their dignity and individuality. To be involved in the general activities of the Home/Unit. Ensure the highest possible levels of care are maintained by supporting/assisting residents, when required with personal care and all other aspects of daily living. Assist residents with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, eating and toileting. Assist in the safe lifting, transferring, repositioning and movement of residents. Assist residents who need help during meal times, helping with serving of food, drinks as requested/required and wash up as requested/required. Observe, monitor and record residents physical and emotional well-being and report any changes notified by care staff. Encourage residents to participate in social and recreational activities. Promoting safe working practice and ensure the good reputation of the Home. Dispense medication, and ensure correct recording of all relevant information relating to medication (after satisfactory completion of the Safe Handling of Medicines course).
