My client
My client is a fast-growing consumer goods brand with a strong presence across retail and e-commerce channels. The business has built an impressive reputation in its category through innovation, quality and a genuinely collaborative culture. With continued growth across the UK and international markets, they are now looking to hire a Customer Supply & Demand Planner to strengthen their planning capability and support the next stage of scale.
About the role
This is a hands-on planning role where you’ll own the forecast and service performance for a portfolio of customers, working closely with commercial teams to ensure demand signals are accurate and operationally executable. You’ll sit at the centre of the planning process, translating commercial plans into realistic forecasts and helping ensure customers receive excellent service levels.
Key responsibilities include:
* Owning the demand forecast for assigned customers and channels
* Partnering with commercial teams to challenge assumptions and translate promotions and launches into demand plans
* Contributing to the S&OP cycle, providing insight on risks, opportunities and forecast changes
* Monitoring OTIF and service KPIs and implementing improvements
* Managing order and fulfilment execution through planning systems and warehouse partners
* Analysing demand trends and driving continuous improvements in forecasting and planning processes
Your experience
To succeed in this role you’ll likely bring:
âś” FMCG or consumer goods demand planning experience
âś” Exposure to forecasting, planning systems and data analysis
âś” Some involvement in S&OP or cross-functional planning processes
âś” Strong Excel and analytical skills
âś” A hands-on mindset and willingness to get stuck in
âś” Confidence working closely with commercial teams and challenging assumptions
Experience with ERP or planning tools such as NetSuite, AnaPlan or WMS systems would be beneficial.
