Overview
Are you a recent conservation, ecology, or environmental graduate? We have an opportunity to join the Conservation team, supporting conservation activities and managed conservation contractors. You will maintain up-to-date records on GIS and use data to inform the wider business of conservation information. You will support small conservation projects and help promote awareness of environmental issues through internal and external communications. You will gain awareness of the team\'s wider environmental work by assisting with administration of the WINEP (Water Industry National Environment Programme). You will support seasonal ecological site surveys and the annual survey programme.
Role Details
Salary: £26,500 per annum
Location: Hanningfield, Chelmsford, Essex. Hybrid plus Sandon Valley House.
About You
If you are passionate about nature and the environment, we want to hear from you. You will have proven communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively, listen to others, and make appropriate recommendations. You will be able to partner collaboratively with teams, using your organisational skills to plan, coordinate, and deliver to timescales, and you will be well-versed in following processes and procedures. The successful candidate will work outdoors in all weathers, across varied terrain, with some manual handling and lone working. Frequent travel between sites requires a full and valid driving licence.
