Join Trane Technologies as a Manufacturing Engineer in Hastings, NE! In this role, you will operate innovative engineered systems and develop, coordinate, and implement sustainable manufacturing production processes. Your cross-functional team will be focused on delivering quality, safety, and operational efficiency improvements.

Where is the work
This position has been designated as On-Site.
What you will do
* Provide timely resolution of manufacturing process and product design problems, including investigations, statistical studies, and corrective action planning.
* Create cost-effective and safe manufacturing processes, equipment, and tools to improve manufacturing operations.
* Design manufacturing flow lines, workstation layouts, and station controls that optimize efficiency, operating costs, and product quality.
* Uphold manufacturing standards including machine capability, process maps, set-ups, quality controls, tooling and fixture records, routings, and cycle times.
* Generate work instructions, job breakdowns, and standardized work to ensure quality at the source meets product and manufacturing specifications given local needs.
* Serve as a voice of the customer for input for new design development.
* Partner with on-site EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) to ensure all equipment meets safety regulations compliant with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration).

What you will bring
* Degree in Engineering or related technical disciplines
* H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
* 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
* PFMEA experience
* Effective communication at multiple levels coupled with ability to build relationships.
* Growth mindset - desire to expand technical skillset.
* Results-driven to maintain accountability and customer-focus
Compensation
Base Pay Range: $65,000 - $85,000
Disclaimer: Total compensation for this role will include a commission/incentive plan. This base pay range is based on US averages. Actual base pay could be a result of seniority, merit, geographic location where the work is performed.
