Sunny Recruitment is proud to partner with a leading company in their industry to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant for a full time position within their finance team
WORKING HOURS..
Monday -Friday 9am - 5pm
Work 3 days on site, 2 from home
THE ROLE...
Assist the Accounting Clerk and help resolve any queries promptly to meet reporting deadlines.
Manage the sales ledger by issuing invoices on time, reconciling with the general ledger, and handling credit control.
Maintain cash books, process transactions, complete monthly bank reconciliations, and ensure alignment with the general ledger.
Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts to ensure adequate bank funding.
Handle intercompany transactions, including invoicing, maintaining schedules, and reconciling balances.
Prepare monthly accruals and prepayments, ensuring accurate schedules and reconciliation with the general ledger.
Maintain fixed asset records, including additions, disposals, depreciation, and reconciliation.
Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns and other required filings.
Complete National Statistics returns as needed.
Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU…
AAT Qualified / or equivalent
Significant proven accounting experience.
Strong working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft applications, as required.
