Job description: As the Food and Beverage Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of service and hospitality at food and beverage outlets & events in our castle. Working with a team in line with senior management's vision you will oversee food and beverage operations, manage a dedicated team, and deliver exceptional experiences to our guests. You will have the unique opportunity to help build and establish exceptional food and beverage experiences at Lympne Castle.
Responsibilities:
* With a hands-on approach, lead and manage the food and beverage team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure a cohesive and efficient operation.
* Manage all aspects of food and beverage service.
* Work closely with the Culinary Team to coordinate for food ordering.
* Work closely with the Events Team to deliver world-class events.
* Manage stock inventory including ordering and inventory control.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to food handling procedures.
* Ensure compliance with all legislation and best practices around alcohol service.
* Recruit, train, motivate, manage and schedule team members.
* Produce and maintain standards of practice documentation.
* Open and/or close food and beverage outlets as needed.
* Monitoring guest satisfaction, addressing feedback.
This is a 7-day /week hospitality operation. As such, weekend and evening work will be required.
To be considered, the following criteria need to be met:
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in food and beverage management;
* Passion for delivering outstanding culinary experiences;
* Exceptional organizational and time management skills;
* Self-motivated and disciplined;
* Solutions-oriented;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an emphasis on respect and positivity;
* Ability to work well under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment;
* Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required;
* Have a safety-first mind set.
