Job Title: Registered Manager – Children's Residential Home (EBD)
Location: Derby, Derbyshire
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum upon registration + £3,000 annual bonus (subject to criteria)
Role Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead a 2-bed therapeutic Children's Residential Home supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) in Derby. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organisation committed to delivering high-quality therapeutic care and achieving positive outcomes for vulnerable children and young people.
You will be responsible for the overall leadership, management, and operation of the home, ensuring full compliance with Children's Homes Regulations, Quality Standards, and Ofsted requirements. Working alongside a supportive senior management team, you will play a key role in maintaining exceptional standards of care while leading and developing a dedicated residential care team.
Key Requirements
• Previous successful Ofsted registration as a Registered Manager within a Children's Residential Home
• Ability to satisfy Ofsted's Fit Person requirements
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare OR Level 5 Diploma in Children, Young People and Families Management
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisory or management role within Children's Residential Care
• Experience working with children and young people in a residential setting
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
• Thorough understanding of Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Commitment to delivering outstanding care and achieving positive outcomes for young people
