Are you a registered practicing Nurse looking for a new opportunity? We’re looking for dedicated, passionate, patient-focused individuals to join our store teams and make a difference in the community.

About the role

As a Healthcare Services Nurse you’ll play an important role as part of a multidisciplinary store team, providing in-store services to our patients and offering holistic advice whilst delivering exceptional patient-centred care. Our main services involve: Travel vaccinations and advice, Hypertension, Chickenpox, Covid-19, HPV, Shingles, Hepatitis B and Meningitis.

You will be supported by the Responsible Pharmacist within store as well as our Nursing Governance Manager who will prepare you for your new role and support you post-induction.

You will also:

1. Deliver our range of healthcare services in our in-store consultation are
2. Support the safe and efficient operation of the healthcare business by following legal and professional regulations.
3. Upskill on new healthcare services where required.
4. Complete further professional development, respond to feedback from patients and implement changes that improve patient experience.


What you’ll need to have

These are the essential skills or experience needed to succeed in this role.

5. Be a practising Nurse registered with NMC
6. A minimum of 2 years post-registration experience
7. A clinical background with an acute awareness of patient safety and understanding of the RCN Standards of conduct, ethics and performance.
8. Comfortable making decisions and delivering sound judgments
9. Able to communicate and build relationships with your team
10. Willingness to support the induction of new Nurse’s within other stores remotely.
11. Enjoy networking so you can promote your services within the local community.


It would be great if you also have

These are desirable skills or experience and are not essential, so we would welcome applications from candidates that don’t match these additional criteria.

12. Qualification as a Nurse Independent Prescriber (desirable)
13. Primary care experience (desirable not essential)
