The 'Antibiotics for Global Health' research group has a longstanding track record of research excellence in the discovery, development and deployment of antibiotics to improve global health.
The Wellcome Trust, Medical Research Council and Global Antibiotic Research and Development Partnership (GARDP) have recently made significant investments in our programmes including new approaches to optimise antifungal combinations to address the global threat of antimicrobial resistance (AMR).
We are looking for two Grade 4 Research Associates who will join an established group of researchers focused on the mechanisms of antimicrobial drug resistance in bacteria and fungi.
You will help map the pathways to development of AMR and design mitigating strategies.
These posts are offered on a fixed term basis until November 2027.
