As a Project Management Apprentice, you’ll develop a broad and adaptable skillset – mastering stakeholder engagement, governance, financial control, and risk management. You’ll play a key role in delivering projects that improve processes, enhance customer experience, and drive innovation across Amazon’s diverse business lines.


What You’ll Do

You’ll gain experience working on real projects that have tangible business impact. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead planning sessions, and support initiatives that make a difference to Amazon’s customers and employees. Your work will involve coordinating resources, managing risks, and using data-driven insights to track performance and deliver successful outcomes.


During Your Apprenticeship, You’ll Learn How To

* Manage and support projects to achieve defined objectives, timelines, and budgets
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment with business priorities
* Identify and mitigate risks, applying structured problem‑solving techniques
* Use data and metrics to monitor project progress and report outcomes to stakeholders
* Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success
* Present project updates using dashboards and reports to communicate impact
* Apply analytical thinking to evaluate and improve processes
* Support strategic planning and contribute ideas that drive positive change

You don’t need previous project management experience – we’re looking for motivated individuals eager to learn, grow, and make a difference.


Your Development

At Amazon, you’ll learn by doing, applying new knowledge every day while supported by expert mentors and experienced project professionals. This 42‑month programme, starting in September 2026, combines on‑the‑job learning with structured study time, allowing you to work towards your BSc (Hons) Degree in Project Management.


Basic Qualifications

* Be 18 years or over before the start date (September 2026)
* Have the right to live and work in England (if you are on a visa, this must enable you to legally work and reside in England for the entire duration of the programme until September 2030)
* Have lived in the UK or EEA for the last 3 years
* Be a resident of the UK for the entire duration of the programme
* Not be registered on another government‑funded course ending August 2026 or later
* Hold at least 5 GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above, including Maths and English
* Have 3 A Levels or equivalent qualifications at grade C or above
* Previous qualifications will be reviewed for funding eligibility (statement of comparability may be required for foreign qualifications)
* PLEASE NOTE: This position is a 42‑month fixed‑term contract. You must NOT already have a qualification in a similar subject at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship.

* Team player – enjoys supporting others and achieving shared goals
* Proactive mindset – willing to take initiative and look for opportunities to improve processes
* Resilience – able to stay positive and solution‑focused when faced with challenges
* Tech awareness – confident using digital tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Teams, or project tracking software)
