Overview
We are seeking a seasonal dedicated and passionate Garden centre Retail assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a understanding of horticulture and a keen eye for detail with exceptional customer service skills.
The position is seasonal starting mid April through to July with working days of Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 10am to 5pm
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting Customers with purchases and general enquiries
* Providing friendly, helpful customer service
* Restocking plants, compost and other garden centre products
* Keeping all displays and floors clean, tidy and well presented
* Supporting the team with any other tasks as needed
This role involves a hands on working environment which during April, May and June is extremely busy and a high pressured environment. This position involves regular lifting and moving of compost and watered hanging baskets so applicants should be comfortable with physical work.
The applicant must also be comfortable around friendly dogs as they are on site on a permanent basis.
