Technical Services Manager (Operations) role at Equans UK & Ireland based at Pinderfields Hospital. Permanent full-time position, 37.5 hours per week. Competitive salary, bonus and benefits package.
Reporting to the Senior Technical Manager, the Technical Services Manager (Ops) leads site-based mechanical, electrical and building fabric technical service delivery. The role includes participation on the 24-hour on-call rota as part of local escalation procedures.
The TSM will lead, direct and motivate the site Technical Services team to maximise their potential and contribute to best-practice service delivery.
What will you deliver?
The main responsibilities include managing the maintenance teams, including specialist subcontractors, to ensure the safe and continuous operation of the hospital. The TSM coordinates site operations in compliance with company, contract and local operating procedures to ensure a standardised approach to Equans service delivery.
* All activities within the Technical Services team to meet and exceed contracted service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders, customers, partners, contractors and other third parties to deliver best-practice services.
* Compliance with statutory requirements related to safe working practices and safe operation of plant, equipment and services; activities to meet relevant HTM and Quality Assurance requirements.
* Management and review of the site Health & Safety (H&S) Plan and associated Risk Assessments, alongside the SHEQ team, ensuring obligations for H&S and statutory requirements are applied.
* Ensuring both planned and reactive maintenance is carried out in line with budgetary and quality constraints and agreed service levels and legislation.

Who are we looking for?
* HNC/HND level in an engineering discipline with a proven managerial track record (past 3–5 years)
* Technical background, preferably with healthcare environment exposure
* Holds or willing to obtain AP appointments through professional development
* Demonstrates technical leadership
* Must have (or be able to obtain) DBS clearance to ‘Standard’ level
