THE HUMANITIES TEACHER JOB & SCHOOL
Based in Hampshire, this is a highly successful and popular special school for pupils aged 8-16 years with ASD, attachment difficulties, social, emotional and mental health needs and challenging behaviours. They are seeking to appoint an outstanding Humanities Teacher who offers creative, multi-sensory and dynamic approach towards teaching and learning

The school offers bespoke curriculum's to enable all students to succeed and progress educationally and emotionally. With an aim to ensure students have the support and understanding they need in a suitable environment to enable them to access the education to which they are entitled.
THE IDEAL HUMANITIES TEACHER APPLICANT

4. A qualified teacher with QTS (NQT's will be considered as they have comprehensive NQT induction and mentoring systems in place).
5. Have a passion for Special Educational Needs and a creative, inspirational approach to developing and delivering the curriculum, able to inspire and develop pupils to achieve their full potential.
6. Be able to work collaboratively to secure the best outcomes for all pupils.
7. Have an understanding of behaviour management strategies to support pupils.
8. Be an excellent classroom manager, able to effectively lead a team of Teaching Assistants.
