About this role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspirational Business Account Manager for our thriving counter at Harvey Nichols.
You will be responsible for the overall growth of the account and increasing brand awareness through internal and external activities. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent customer service skills, have previous experience in leading a team, and managing a growing business.
Leading by example is key to success in this role. You will thrive in a target-driven environment and enjoy supporting and guiding others to achieve their goals and KPIs.
This role involves field management support, mentoring counter managers and teams across multiple locations, reporting directly to the Head of Retail.
Key Responsibilities
* Overall responsibility for the success of the counter, ensuring the team and the account meet sales targets.
* Support the Head of Retail by working with other counter managers to train, coach, and develop teams.
* Lead and develop a team of two dedicated Counter Specialists.
* Participate in strategic business planning with department managers, press, marketing, and retail leadership to ensure successful launches and lead counter events.
* Hold team meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions.
* Conduct in-depth skin consultations using the latest skin imaging technology.
Desired Skills and Experience
* Previous retail experience, ideally in a high-end environment.
* Management or assistant management experience is essential.
* Background in skincare or cosmetics sales.
* Passion for beauty and results-driven skincare.
* Proactive sales approach.
* Growth mindset with a passion for developing and mentoring others.
