We are a friendly, well organised rural training practiceproviding excellent patient access and pride ourselves on providing safe &responsive patient care.
We provide services to 23,000 patients and are one of twopractices in Spalding PCN with a combined population of approximately 44,000; working collaborativelyto deliver smarter, more responsive and more sustainable services to ourpatients.
Very effective triage system, designed to reduce GPworkload.
We have an extensive team including salaried GPs, Advanced Clinical Practitioners, ACPs, Triage, Practice & Mental Health Nurses,HCAs, MSK, FCPs, Pharmacists, Pharmacy Techs, PAs and Care Co-ordinators.
You will be supported by a large administration team withwell established systems to support you on a day to day basis with results,referrals & clinic letters etc.

This role will be funded through ARRS, we are open to discussion regarding sessional rate for the right candidate and based on experience.
Main duties of the job
As a salaried GP you will be responsible for delivering primary medicalservices to a list of patients ensuring a high standard of care for the variousneeds of the practice population.
Provide face to face and telephone appointments
14 patients per session
Home visiting team provided, therefore, very occasional requirement to undertake home visits.

Job summary
ASalaried GP works as anautonomous practitioner, responsible for the provision of medical services tothe practice population, delivering an excellent standard of clinical carewhile complying with the contract.
Furthermore,the post-holder will adhere to the GMC standards for good medical practice,contributing to the effective management of the practice, leading by example,maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with themultidisciplinary team.
Therole is to support, mentor, and supervise other healthcare professionalswithin the organisation and be an integral part of the general practice team.
Primary key responsibilities
The following are the core responsibilities of the Salaried GP indelivering health services.
a. The delivery of highly effective medical care to the entitledpopulation
b. The provision of services commensurate with the primary care contract
c. To clinically examine and assess patient needs from a physiologicaland psychological perspective and plan clinical care accordingly referringpatients to other services/agencies in a timely manner, utilising Practiceand any other local guidelines
d. Prescribing adhering to practice formulary, local and nationalguidance
e. To support patients to adopt health promotion strategies that promotehealthy lifestyles and apply principles of self-care.
f. Processing of administration in a timely manner, including referrals,repeat prescription requests and other associated administrative tasks
g. Review medications following the appropriate policies.
h. Maintain accurate clinical records in conjunction with good practice,policy and guidance
j. Adhere to best practice recommended through clinical guidelines andthe audit process
l. Contribute to the successful implementation of continuous improvementand quality initiatives within the practice
m. Attend and contribute effectively to practice meetings as required
n. Contribute effective to the development and maintenance of thepractice including clinical governance and training
o. Be aware of your duties and responsibilities regarding currentlegislation and adhere to practice policies and procedures on Safeguarding Adultsand Safeguarding Children
p. Ensure compliance with the appraisal process
