This Primary TA role will see you working closely with teaching staff to support pupils in their day-to-day learning, either in small groups or on a one-to-one basis. Primary TA Responsibilities: Support teachers in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons Provide targeted assistance to pupils, both in groups and individually Help maintain a safe, positive, and stimulating classroom environment Assist with the preparation and organisation of learning resources Promote good behaviour and help manage classroom routines Support pupils with additional needs, ensuring inclusivity in learning Observe and report pupil progress to teaching staff Requirements for Primary Teaching Assistant: Previous experience working with primary-aged children as a Primary Teaching Assistant or similaris desirable CACHE Level 2 or 3, NVQ, or relevant childcare or Teaching Assistant qualification preferred A degree in Education, Psychology or in a similar field. A genuine interest in education and supporting children’s development Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team A valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply Why Join GSL Education?
