The role involves working collaboratively with the Head of Apprenticeships and other managers to deliver a high-quality Business & Professional curriculum that meets Bath College’s standards and drives learner success rates to, or above, the College targets. It encompasses delivering engaging and effective teaching across classroom, workshop, and online environments; providing theory and practical skills development; conducting on-site (employer-based) assessments; and carrying out timely reviews of apprentices to ensure compliance with Bath College quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide induction, initial assessment, advice and guidance to learners undertaking Apprenticeships, including associated knowledge and competence qualifications.
* Provide information, advice and guidance to candidates.
* Undertake learner and employer skill scans.
* Conduct initial assessment interviews with candidates.
* Ensure candidates undertake basic skills screening and diagnostic testing.
* Prepare individual learning plans and personal training plans that ensure a coherent training programme that makes full and effective use of on- and off-the-job training opportunities.
* Devise and maintain plans of learning and associated assessment plans.
* Ensure measurable milestones are in place to assist apprentices to prepare for end-point assessment effectively by their expected end date.
* Effectively monitor learner progress during the delivery period of their apprenticeship.
* Deliver classroom lessons, workshops, one-to-one instruction, and training sessions relating to knowledge and skills development and to assess candidates in the workplace.
* Maintain efficient record-keeping and tracking systems using the systems provided and stipulated by the College, and report agreed targets in a timely manner against agreed deadlines.
* Conduct assessment, evaluation and progress reviews as appropriate, both inside the College and in the workplace.
* Provide regular and purposeful reports to employers, apprentices, learners and the College so that there is a clear plan of action which is time-bound for each learner and which allows completion with agreed target dates.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
* Level 2 qualification or equivalent in maths and English.
* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent experience/CPD) in Business Administration and Customer Service.
* Willingness to work towards an Assessor Award (D32/D33 or A/V or TAQA).
* Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
