Job Description

The Estates and Facilities HSEQ Officer will be responsible for:

3. Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations within the facilities management department.
4. Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
5. Develop, implement, and monitor HSEQ policies and procedures across all facilities.
6. Provide guidance and training to staff on health and safety best practices.
7. Maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, and compliance activities.
8. Collaborate with external contractors to ensure adherence to safety standards.
9. Support the implementation of sustainability and environmental initiatives across the organisation.
10. Produce detailed reports and recommendations for senior management on HSEQ performance

The Successful Applicant

A successful Estates and Facilities HSEQ Officer should have:

11. Knowledge of health, safety, environmental, and quality management systems.
12. A relevant qualification in health and safety or facilities management.
13. Experience working in facilities management within the not-for-profit sector is advantageous.
14. Strong organisational and communication skills to support effective policy implementation.
15. Attention to detail and the ability to conduct thorough audits and risk assessments.
16. Proficiency in maintaining and analysing compliance records and reports.
