Akkodis is partnering with a client in Insurance in the UK, below what they are looking for!

Job Opportunity: Configuration Manager (SACM & HAM)

Location: Stratford-upon-Avon (1 day per week on-site or 2 days every fortnight) 6 month contract Inside IR35

We are supporting an established client in the Financial Services sector who is undertaking a significant transformation within their Service Asset & Configuration Management (SACM) and Hardware Asset Management (HAM) functions. They now require an experienced Configuration Manager to help redefine the future state of their operating model.

The Role The successful consultant will be responsible for assessing the current SACM and HAM structure, grouping and rationalising ongoing changes, and ultimately designing a Target Operating Model (TOM) that outlines what the future SACM landscape should look like once transformation activities are delivered.

This role will involve:

Conducting a detailed assessment of the current SACM/HAM model Designing and documenting a Target Operating Model (TOM) Providing process analysis, process mapping, and recommendations for improvement Advising on future tooling and capability enhancements Leading and managing stakeholder engagement across multiple business areas

We are seeking an individual with:

* Extensive experience as a Configuration Manager, Business Analyst, or Consultant specialising in SACM
* A proven track record of designing, leading, or modernising Configuration Management and Hardware Asset Management services
* Target Operating Model (TOM) design and implementation experience
* ITSM expertise, ideally with strong knowledge of ServiceNow
* Experience in Financial Services, Insurance, or other regulated industries (highly desirable)
* Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and influencing skills
