As the Wireman Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in driving efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery for this company's critical manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities of the Wireman Team Leader:
* Oversee the Wiring Cell Team, ensuring they meet cost, quality, and delivery KPIs
* Allocate work to support the manufacturing programme and achieve wiring hour targets
* Ensure relevant health, safety, and environmental requirements are in place
* Implement and maintain Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives
* Liaise closely with the Production Cell Team, Production Manager, and Engineering Team
* Undertake hands-on Assembly and Wiring activities alongside the Wiring Cell Team
Qualifications and Experience:
* Time-served Electrical Apprenticeship
* Extensive experience in Assembly and Wiring of Control Panels and Equipment
* Proven track record as a working Manufacturing Team Leader
* Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various teams
