A well-established and growing business based in Filey is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join their finance team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on and commercially focused finance professional to play a key role within a stable and expanding organisation. Offering a competitive salary of up to £55,000, this role would suit someone who is part-qualified, qualified, or QBE and confident in taking ownership of the monthly management accounts process while supporting wider business performance. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Management Accountant will: Take full responsibility for the preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting. Produce detailed variance analysis and provide clear commentary to support senior management decision-making. Support the budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with operational teams to deliver realistic and commercially sound projections. Manage balance sheet reconciliations and maintain strong financial controls across the business. Assist with cash flow forecasting and monitoring to support ongoing financial stability. Provide KPI reporting and margin analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Support year-end processes and liaise with external accountants where required. Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve reporting efficiency. The ideal candidate will: Be ACCA/CIMA part-qualified, qualified, or QBE with proven experience producing full management accounts. Have strong Excel skills and experience working with finance systems. Demonstrate excellent analytical ability with strong attention to detail. Be confident communicating financial information to non-finance stakeholders. Be proactive, commercially aware, and comfortable working in a hands-on environment. This position is based in Filey and is easily commutable from Scarborough, Bridlington, Malton, Driffield, and surrounding areas.
