Food Technician - Secondary Schools (Merton)
Full-time | 5 days per week
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Technician to join a group of welcoming and inclusive secondary schools across the London Borough of Merton. This is a full-time role, working five days per week, ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting high-quality food technology education.
The Role
As a Food Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth delivery of Food Technology lessons. Working closely with teaching staff, you will help create a safe, engaging, and well-organised learning environment for students of all abilities.
Key responsibilities include:
Preparing ingredients, equipment, and materials for practical lessons
Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised food technology area
Supporting students during practical sessions when required
Managing stock, ordering supplies, and ensuring correct storage
Ensuring health and safety standards are consistently met

Experience working in a food preparation, catering, or school-based role (desirable but not essential)
