Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Team Manager (Nights) to join our Sainsbury’s team at our site in Sherburn in Elmet. This is a multi-temperature environment covering ambient, produce, chill, and frozen chambers. You will be responsible for managing and leading your own team, helping to coach, motivate, and engage them to create a great team culture with a strong work ethic.
This is a full-time, permanent position, working any 5 nights from 7, from 22:00 to 06:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £36,000.00 per annum, plus a shift allowance of £3,000.00 per annum, and 33 days of annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
* Lead operational activities in your area for the duration of the shift to achieve the work plan on time, within budget, and meeting KPIs
* Drive performance through effective monitoring of coaching and performance
* Review all aspects of shift performance, identifying areas for improvement
* Proactively lead the team on shift to motivate high performance, develop positive engagement, and ensure good communication across the operation
* Manage the warehouse training requirements and functions
What you need to succeed at GXO:
* Proven experience managing a large operational team in a fast-paced warehouse environment, ideally in a food operation
* The ability to lead continuous improvement projects while demonstrating excellent planning skills
* Excellent communication skills with a focus on maintaining on-site engagement
