Night shift 10pm : 6am / 37.5 hours per week
What You Will Do:
* Maintain and prepare existing tooling to ensure optimal performance and production readiness.
* Identify and resolve tooling issues effectively, implementing corrective actions as required.
* Conduct preventative maintenance on production tooling, adhering to strict schedules and standards.
* Fabricate, fit, and assemble parts using a variety of equipment such as milling machines, lathes, and surface grinders.
* Collaborate with production and quality teams to gather feedback and continuously improve tooling processes.
What You Will Bring:
* Time:served apprenticeship in a relevant discipline, showcasing your technical expertise.
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
* Hands:on experience with Toolroom equipment, including overhead cranes and inspection tools.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks.
* A proven track record in a manufacturing environment, demonstrating your ability to deliver results.
You will have current or recent experience as tool repair technician, toolmaker, tooling engineer, manual machinist or jig, tool and die maintainer
Tool room experience on press tools, jigs, fixtures or mould tools
