The Role:
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will be an integral part of the primary schools, providing invaluable support to both teachers and students. Your experience, dedication, and passion for education will help create a positive and stimulating learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons and activities, covering classes in the teacher's absence.
* Provide targeted support to individual students or small groups, addressing specific learning needs.
* Assist in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs).
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported.
* Monitor and record students' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
* Collaborate with teachers to develop and deliver creative and effective teaching strategies.
* Support the social and emotional development of students, promoting positive behavior and attitudes.
Requirements:
* A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their educational development.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
* Patience, empathy, and a compassionate approach to understanding and addressing diverse learning needs.
* Creativity and adaptability to design and implement engaging learning activities.
* Previous experience working in a primary school setting is desirable.
