Job Description
Job Title: Head of Partnerships
Reporting to: Director of Employability and Partnerships
Responsible for: Driving the development and expansion of Stepping Stones NI services, supporting individuals facing barriers to employment. Focus on strengthening partnerships, building collaborations, and leading employment academies and support initiatives.
Location: Antrim Street, Lisburn (after 6 months, 60/40 Hybrid)
Salary: £35,000-£40,000 depending on experience
Hours: 37 hours per week

About The Role
Objectives of the Role
The Head of Partnerships will be a key member of a dynamic team focused on service growth, stakeholder engagement, employer relationships, and employment services. The role involves expanding community partnerships, deepening employer engagement, proactive employer outreach, developing employment services, networking, and creating sustainable job opportunities. A critical aspect is maintaining and increasing referrals to Stepping Stones NI services.

Required Criteria
* Third Level Qualification in a relevant discipline or 3 years experience in a Partnerships or Development role
* At least 3 years experience liaising with stakeholders and building networks
* Experience liaising with employers to generate employment opportunities
* 3+ years staff and programme coordination, meeting KPIs and promoting projects
* Understanding of employment and disability barriers, with appropriate values and attitudes
* Ability to oversee data and information using Excel
* Computer literacy in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email
* Clear and confident communication skills, including reporting and presentations
* Teamwork, leadership, flexibility, self-motivation, and initiative
* Access to a car and current driving license
Desired Criteria
* Experience with funding projects
* Links with businesses and ability to develop relationships to attract and retain clients
* Experience working with people with learning disabilities or other difficulties
* Community engagement experience
