As the Assistant Pack house Production Manager, you will play a crucial role in supervising daily operations, ensuring efficiency in the packing process, and maintaining the highest quality control standards. You'll be a vital part of a friendly and diverse team, making a difference from day one!
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily operations and assist in planning, organising, and monitoring packing activities to meet customer demands.
Manage staff schedules and ensure optimal productivity and work flow.
Oversee inventory management, logistics coordination, and compliance with health & safety regulations.
Train staff on health & safety, product quality, hygiene, and record-keeping.
Communicate effectively with all relevant personnel to ensure smooth operations.
Assist in carrying out annual appraisals with all subordinates ensuring individual development programs are implemented.
Communicate any updates or changes in operations to all Packing Supervision, Quality Control, and all relevant personnel.
Assist in planning/authorising annual holidays to ensure department efficiency's are not affected.
