Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) post at Howbridge C of E Junior School. Howbridge Church of England Junior School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated HLTA to join our friendly team. This is a Full term, Permanent contract, starting as soon as possible. Position Type: Teaching/Child Support; Pay Range: Scale 6. Point 14-18. Initial working pattern: Monday - Friday 8:30 - 12:00 pm and 13:00 - 15:30. Application Close: 12/04/2026 Midnight. Responsibilities
* Provide learning activities for classes under the professional direction and supervision of a qualified teacher.
* Plan, prepare and deliver lessons and assess, record and report on development, progress and attainment.
* Work with classes to support learning and contribute to a safe and positive learning environment.
Requirements and Conditions
* Initial working pattern: Monday – Friday 8:30 – 12:00 and 13:00 – 15:30.
* The candidate must be able to work.
* Safeguarding and recruitment requirements: All appointments are subject to an enhanced DBS check, medical clearance and satisfactory references.
