Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding & Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions.
We're looking for Class 2 Drivers to join us at our site in Motherwell. These roles are temp to perm for the ideal candidates. We have a mixture of start times and days available; you will typically work between 10-12-hour shifts.
Please note: To work with this client, a driving assessment (theory and practical) must be passed.
What you'll do on a typical shift:
* Multidrop deliveries between customer sites & other depots
* Safely operate your vehicle adhering to business standards.
* In the absence of a customer forklift driver, you will need to use pallet truck & tail lift to unload pallets off trailer.
* Complete relevant paperwork using a handheld scanner.
* Vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness, ensure the load is secured correctly and compliance with VOSA.
What you need to succeed with our client:
* Must have a multidrop experience!
* HGV2 licence, Digital Tachograph Card, Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
* No more than six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements.
* ADR preferred but is not a necessity.
* A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card.
* Multidrop delivery experience.
* Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.
