The Warehouse team is responsible for operational services. While this role is based at our Ipswich White House Road warehouse, there may be a requirement to provide cover at our other warehouse locations locally, so flexibility is essential.
The role will involve:
As a Warehouse Team Leader, you’ll ensure best practices are followed for maximum efficiency and that a suitable working environment is maintained for employees and their activities.
In addition to managing day-to-day operations, you’ll take work instructions from the Warehouse Operations Manager, monitor the productivity and performance of Warehouse Operatives, assign tasks, and provide constructive feedback as needed.
Key responsibilities include:
* Regular communication with your Manager to understand and execute shift tasks
* Ensuring products are picked, packed, loaded, or unloaded according to Hemisphere and customer specifications
* Carrying out work to the best of operative’s abilities
* Seeking training to maintain and update skills
* Working as part of a team and taking responsibility for your own work and others
* Performing procedures safely and in accordance with training
* Complying with Health & Safety policies and procedures
* Maintaining operational effectiveness of equipment and machinery, reporting faults promptly
* Ensuring team members have appropriate PPE
* Performing any other reasonable duties as assigned
* General warehouse duties
You will need to have:

* Previous warehouse experience
* Ability to work independently and supervise/lead others
* Attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to meet deadlines
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Teamwork commitment
* Organizational, planning, and time-management skills
* Forklift License & experience
* Flexible, practical, and innovative approach to work
* A full driving license may be required for site travel
* Essential: Forklift and VNA Licences; PPT Licence is desirable

The working hours are 17:00 – 02:30, Monday to Friday, totaling 42.5 hours per week.
