Legal Secretary – Litigation\n\nPermanent\n\nFull Time role\n\nSalary up to £28k\n\nBased in Leeds\n\nMedlock Partners are delighted to be working with a reputable and forward-thinking law firm in Leeds City Centre who are looking to appoint a Legal Secretary to support their busy Litigation and Regulatory departments.\n\nThis is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous secretarial or legal administrative experience to join a dynamic and collaborative team, supporting fee earners across various teams.\n\nKey responsibilities of the Legal Secretary:\n\nProviding full secretarial support including audio and copy typing, amending and formatting documents\n\nPreparing legal bundles and handling document collation\n\nDiary management, travel bookings, and meeting arrangements\n\nTaking and directing incoming calls, handling client queries where appropriate\n\nPreparing and submitting bills and client reports\n\nOpening, maintaining, and closing client files\n\nCarrying out AML checks and conflict searches\n\nSupporting wider secretarial team during absences and providing ad hoc project support\n\nOccasionally assisting with reception cover when required\n\nKey requirements for the Legal Secretary role:\n\nPrevious experience as a Legal Secretary or Legal Administrator, ideally within litigation\n\nStrong IT skills, particularly in MS Word, Excel and Outlook\n\nFamiliarity with legal case management systems\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\n\nHigh attention to detail and strong organisational skills\n\nA flexible, proactive, and professional approach\n\nAbility to prioritise a varied workload and meet deadlines\n\nIf you are interested in this Legal Secretary position and feel your experience fits the criteria, please apply now for immediate consideration or contact Anna Hand or Amy Breslin for a confidential chat.\n\nMedlock Partners are a professional services recruitment specialist operating across England.\n\nWe are proud to be an equal opportunities employer and encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds and circumstances, including minorities and those with disabilities.
