An Independent Fostering Agency are looking for a Supervising Social Worker for their fostering service covering Somerset. This is a permanent and full-time position that is homebased, with the requirement to attend the regional office in Taunton twice per month. The ideal candidate can be based near Taunton. You must have a Diploma/Degree in Social Work and have the right to work in the UK (no VISA sponsorship available). About the job Undertaking support and supervision visits to foster carers Providing placement management, planning, and intervention support Ensuring children's care and development needs are met Managing a small caseload across the Somerset area Working collaboratively within a multi-agency team Completing all relevant compliance and reports About you The successful candidate will have a social work degree with post qualification experience in Children's Social Work whilst having an up-to-date understanding of relevant fostering legislation and regulations. You must be a driver and able to travel across the Devon area for visits. What's on offer?
