Hourly Rate: £14.00 gross per hour.
Hours: 24 per week.
The work pattern will be discussed and agreed with the successful candidate.

About the Role CIDO is looking for a Maintenance Officer who willwork as part of the Property Team, carrying out a range of duties to ensure safety, security, maintenance, and cleanliness of CIDOs sites and premises.
The Maintenance Officer can expect to undertake the full range of caretaker duties and will be required to work in all of CIDOs three business sites.
Please note that as business keyholder, the Maintenance Officer will be expected, as and when necessary, to attend out-of-hours emergencies or requests from the CIDO Management Team.
Key Responsibilities Undertake a range of General Maintenance Duties, including but not limited to maintenance all external hard surface areas, grass cutting, disposal of waste materials, arrange to clear blockages, remove foreign matter from sinks, toilets, drains, kitchen grease traps, etc.
and clean up spillages as required.
Undertake handyperson duties which are within the capability of the Maintenance Officer which may include some or all of the following, painting and decorating, joinery, plumbing and internal glazing.
Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Health and Safety requirements.
Ensure security of the premises and have key holder responsibilities.
Essential Criteria Five years experience within the building maintenance sector or grounds maintenance.
Working knowledge of current Health and Safety legislation.
Must be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of building trade skills and grounds.
maintenance including joinery, painting and decorating.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable Criteria NVQ Level 2 in Construction or Grounds Maintenance.
Training in joinery (either formal qualification or apprenticeships).
Knowledge of building regulations.
Understanding of basic plumbing.
Experience in joinery.
Manual Handling Certificate Weed Spraying Certificates The successful candidate will also be expected to demonstrate the following: Willingness to deal with tenant issues on a daily basis.

Ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
Ability to work with enthusiasm and motivation.
Willingness to attend relevant training when required.
