Your Role as a Care Assistant in Louth
In this role, you’ll provide essential support that helps our clients stay happy and healthy at home:
- Provide Personal Care – including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting, always delivered with respect and dignity to promote comfort and self‑esteem.
- Support Mobility Needs – using hoists or walking aids where necessary, encouraging gentle physical activity and helping clients move around safely and confidently.
- Administer or Prompt Medication – following care plans precisely to ensure safety and consistency, while offering emotional reassurance and friendly companionship.
- Prepare Nutritious Meals – catering to individual dietary needs and preferences, and assisting with light household duties to maintain a warm, clean and comfortable home.
- Offer Transport Support – to appointments, errands or local activities, helping clients maintain independence and stay connected with their community.
- Follow Personalised Care Plans – designed to meet each client’s unique physical, emotional, and social needs, with a focus on promoting independence.
- Share Meaningful Moments – whether it’s a kind conversation, a shared laugh or helping with a hobby, it’s often the small acts of kindness that matter most.
