Job Description

The Office Administrator will have day-to-day responsibility to ensure smooth operation of the office in Ludlow, Shropshire. You will be working directly with senior staff and interacting with all employees, therefore good communication skills are essential.


Key Responsibilities

* Taking calls and performing reception duties.
* Maintaining office supplies.
* Receiving deliveries.
* Recording minutes.
* Creating purchase orders.
* Assisting with marketing and social media.
* Answering the phone and liaising with customers and suppliers.
* Monitoring levels of PPE in stock and ensuring replacement items are re-ordered in a timely manner.
* Ordering and providing company uniforms and clothing to staff.
* Placing purchase orders using Sage accounting system and liaising with the accounts team.
* Organising accommodation and travel arrangements for engineers.
* Managing the use of company vehicles.
* Monitoring company vehicle MOT and tax dates and ensuring vehicles are maintained in line with service requirements.
* Proof‑reading project documentation as required.
* Managing company websites and writing copy under the guidance of the teams.
* Preparing marketing materials and assisting with coordination of marketing and exhibition events.
* Maintaining health and safety documentation relating to the office and vehicles and carrying out regular checks of fire alarm system and first aid boxes.
* Assisting the Health, Safety and Quality Manager with production & maintenance of documentation and management systems.
* Taking minutes of weekly project meetings.
* Providing assistance with IT issues, liaising with the external IT support contractor.
* Managing office cleaners and ensuring the office is maintained clean and tidy.
* Managing office supplies, stationery and printer supplies.


Skills and Experience

* Full UK Driving Licence.
* Strong IT skills across MS Office Suite.
* Excellent communication skills.
* General interest in renewable technologies.
* Previous experience in a similar capacity.

Candidate Requirements


Essential

* Minimum Experienced Required (Years): 1.
* Minimum Qualification: Level 5 (including Leaving Certificate / Leaving Certificate Applied / Leaving Certificate Vocational Programme).


Desirable

* Ability Skills: Administration, Communications, Computer Literacy, Customer Service.
* Competency Skills: Problem Solving, Teamwork, Time Management, Working on own Initiative.
* Driving Licence: Full B.
