Teaching Assistant
Location: Spalding, Lincolnshire (PE11)
Pay: £103-£110 per day
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
Contract: Long-term with potential to become permanent
Start Date: ASAP
About the Role
We are delighted to be supporting a newly established special needs school in Spalding (PE11), catering for children and young people aged 2-19 with a wide range of learning difficulties, disabilities and SEMH needs.
Pupils are taught in small, nurturing groups, allowing them to build trust, regulate emotions and re-engage positively with learning. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting their confidence, development and independence across a varied, life-skills-focused curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing 1:1 and small-group SEN/SEMH support
* Assisting in the delivery of engaging, practical lessons
* Promoting emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour
* Supporting life skills, independence and social development
* Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists and specialist support teams

Location
The school is easily accessible from Spalding, Pinchbeck, Holbeach, Crowland, Bourne, Surfleet, Gosberton, Donington and surrounding PE11 and PE10 areas.
