Role Overview
A well-established regional law firm is seeking an experienced RTA / Credit Hire Solicitor to join its specialist motor litigation team in Warrington. With over 25 years’ experience, the firm has built a strong reputation for technical excellence and client service.
This role will see you managing a varied caseload of pre-litigated and litigated RTA matters, with a particular focus on credit hire disputes and recovery work. Acting on behalf of insurers and high-value clients, you will handle claims from inception through to resolution, including liability investigations, quantum assessment, negotiation and litigation where necessary.
The position is primarily office-based in Warrington, with hybrid flexibility (one day from home following probation).
Candidate Profile / Experience Needed
We are keen to speak with qualified Solicitors who have strong experience in RTA litigation and credit hire matters.
You will demonstrate:
* Proven experience handling litigated and pre-litigated RTA claims independently
* Strong working knowledge of credit hire disputes and recovery strategies
* Experience dealing with Small Claims, Fast Track and Intermediate Track matters
* A sound understanding of the CPR and litigation process
* Confidence assessing liability and quantum, drafting pleadings and negotiating settlements
* A proactive and commercially focused approach to litigation
Experience of subrogated recovery or uninsured loss claims would be advantageous, but the core focus of this role is RTA and credit hire expertise.
