We are seeking a Direct Payments Reviewing Officer to work alongside the Direct Payments Financial Reviewing Team Leader, to support the processing and reviewing of Direct Payment in the Children’s Services. About The Role
As a Direct Payments Reviewing Officer, you will be responsible for:
* Processing and reviewing of Direct Payment requests
* Conducting financial reviews of Direct Payments
* Working closely with children, young people and their families to ensure successful delivery of Direct Payments
* Collaborating with other professionals to achieve positive outcomes for children and young people
* Providing advice and guidance to service users regarding Direct Payments
About You
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
* Experience working within a similar role, ideally in a local authority setting
* Sound knowledge of Direct Payments legislation and regulations
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle challenging situations
