Overview
EQUANS is looking for a Facilities Co-ordinator (Minor Works) to join our team based in Stoke-on-Trent on an initial 7 month fixed-term contract. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week from 09:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday with a 30 minute unpaid break. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package. Reporting to the Minor Works Manager, the Facilities Co-ordinator will be responsible for the end-to-end process of coordinating, scoping, delivery and handover of small-scale project works as per client specification. The role includes coordinating contractors and internal resources to ensure delivery of additional works on time and within budget. This includes creating job plans for schedules of minor Additional Project works, tracking progress and reporting on targets both internally and to the client, and managing the SHEQ, Financial and Compliance elements of projects and updating CAFM Records and Asset Data after handover.
What will you deliver?
* Price and control small works projects
* Manage ad hoc client requests for rollout of Minor Project Works generally up to £50k
* Consolidation of billable remedial works by geography, skill set requirement
* Monitor minor works progress, update the plan daily, and report internally and to the client as required
* Liaise with sub-contractors on delivery of packages of works
* Ensure the CAFM system is updated accurately and in a timely manner
* Upload all relevant paperwork related to works carried out, ensuring the right hierarchy is used
* Liaise with product suppliers on lead times and availability, informing Regional teams of any delays
* Complete the financial closure of the projects to ensure timely billing

Who are we looking for?
* Strong financial/commercial acumen with knowledge of pricing and controlling small works
* Excellent communication and report-writing skills
* Analytical skills and ability to plan, prioritise, and allocate work
* Self-disciplined and able to work on own initiative
* Flexible and adaptable
* CAFM experience preferred; job-specific training can be provided
