We are supporting various customers worldwide in automotive electrical and electronics systems development. We are recruiting for a Operations Analyst for our customer.
Position description:
1. Work with big cloud-based data in delivering and maintaining Local process controls, working across functions and markets to manage ordering of SV options, meeting customer needs at all levels of the business.
2. Build operational excellence and program control capabilities across the Special Vehicle Operations organization to deliver the best solutions to our customers in a flexible and agile manner.
3. Using Data and Tools to identify and action improvement areas to increase the agility and flexibility of the FPSV team.
4. Integrating Ford and industry best-practices to further improve productivity.
5. Identifying additional tools that could further support the team build more robust, higher quality products with shorter lead times.
What you bring along:
Skills Required:
6. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing best practices [incl. Six Sigma, Kaizen etc.]
7. Highly numerical with strong analytical skills.
8. Proven ability to solve problems creatively.
9. Be a self-starter with the ability to take responsibility for key assignments with minimal supervision.
10. Process-oriented mindset with emphasis on implementation.
Skills Preferred:
11. Experience of working with Big Query, Google Cloud Console and Alteryx.
12. Experience of Power Automate and Power Apps and Excel VB
13. Flexibility and ability to deal with ambiguity and shifting priorities.
14. Ability to meet tight deadlines.
15. Ability to collaboratively work in a diverse, cross-functional, European environment.
16. Agile project management.
Experience Required:
- 5-7 years experience of working in a manufacturing / operations environment with experience of;
- Building out and optimisation of new processes
- Tracking of operating metrics and KPIs
- Use of agile methodologies to accelerate program delivery
Experience Preferred:
- Experience of the Commercial vehicle conversion market and international automotive industry
- Knowledge of Ford structure and processes, with experience in Product Development, Manufacturing and/or Program Management
Education Required:
- University degree or equivalent in Engineering
Education Preferred:
- Higher degree (Meng, MSC, PhD)
