Senior Supply Chain Manager, Relay Load Board (RLB), ATS
Amazon’s Senior Supply Chain Managers play a central role in our global business. They keep our complex, international supply chains working seamlessly and efficiently. As a Senior Supply Chain Manager, you will work closely with multiple stakeholders across Amazon, from operational teams fulfilling customer orders to retail teams and others. You’ll help optimize our supply chains to enhance customer experience and improve our business’s energy and cost efficiency.
Key job responsibilities
1. Lead the Weekly Business Review of RLB throughout the year.
2. Lead RLB demand planning for high-volume events and disruption weeks to ensure network capacity.
3. Coordinate with multiple Amazon business units to understand plan interactions and impacts.
4. Liaise with Surface Transportation Scheduling and Forecasting teams on critical business topics.
5. Identify root causes of failures and implement systematic solutions through appropriate processes.
6. Dive deep into issues, understanding stakeholder contributions and challenges, while maintaining a strategic perspective.
7. Provide operational updates on risks and opportunities related to RLB capacity in the network.
8. Collaborate with forecasting teams to ensure RLB performance.
9. Deep dive into problems and develop solutions for both short-term and long-term.
10. Develop automations, data pipelines, and dashboards for advanced planning.
11. Share updates with leadership regarding risks, plans, and mitigation strategies.

Your day may involve resolving issues, strategic planning, or supporting new projects. The role offers variety, allowing you to learn and adapt daily, from defining supply chain models to managing resource plans during peak periods.
About the team
Relay Load Board (RLB) is a key component of Amazon’s middle-mile transportation network, handling a significant share of linehaul volume. It enables Amazon to manage disruptions and maintain excellent customer experience.
Minimum qualifications
* A degree in a relevant field.
* Experience analyzing data and creating reports for leadership.
* Experience communicating with diverse stakeholders, including peers and leadership.
* Experience managing multiple projects with tight deadlines.
* Proficiency in English (verbal and written).
* Skills in data analysis tools (SQL, Python, Excel).
* Experience in defining program requirements and using data to drive improvements.
Preferred qualifications
* Previous experience in supply chain planning, logistics, e-commerce, or transportation planning.
* Degree in STEM or an MBA.
* Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Quicksight).
