Loss Prevention Deputy Manager Hubs Location: RugbyContract Type: Permanent / Full-timeReports to: Senior Loss Prevention Manager As a Loss Prevention Deputy Manager, you will play a critical role in deterring, detecting, and investigating loss within designated Hub locations. Your focus will be on reducing losses, including client freight, improving parcel management, and ensuring compliance with processes and SOPs. Using data-driven insights, you will identify trends, implement solutions, and work closely with operational teams to deliver measurable improvements. Key Responsibilities Loss and Damage Reduction:Identify opportunities to improve parcel handling and processing. Collaborate with implementation teams to embed new processes that reduce loss and damage. Review data and trends to drive continuous improvement. Client Loss Management:Investigate and resolve client loss issues, ensuring KPIs are met. Conduct audits on client parcels and packaging. Recommend process changes for safeguarding high-value goods. Hub Site Security and Processes:Ensure security checks for visitors, vehicles, and trailers. Monitor compliance with entry/exit processes across all shifts. Utilise CCTV and conduct searches to address theft and fraud. Parcel Treatment and Behaviour:Promote a culture of care in parcel handling. Collect and report evidence of poor parcel treatment for corrective action. Support Hub Management in embedding SOPs and recognising positive behaviours. Loss Prevention Activities:Reduce Unidentified Freight (UF) by ensuring correct processes are followed. Audit relabelling processes for compliance, including GDPR. Authorise UF items and challenge operational practices where necessary.? Qualifications and Skills GCSE Maths & English. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Power BI. Operational experience in parcel environments. Ability to work autonomously and influence stakeholders. Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
