What you'll be doing

typedisc:
:Owning key parts of the month:end and quarterly close, including journal entries, reconciliations and financial statement reviews.
:Ensuring accurate accounting treatment in line with GAAP across multiple regional entities.
:Preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and supporting robust financial reporting.
:Supporting Accounts Payable activities, including invoice reviews, expense checks and payment runs.
:Preparing VAT returns and statutory reporting requirements.
:Playing a key role in audit cycles, preparing schedules and supporting audit requests.
:Assisting with the preparation of statutory financial statements.
:Identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency across finance operations.
:Supporting projects and initiatives, including internal controls and technical accounting research.

What we're looking for

:Strong experience in month:end close, reconciliations and reporting.
:Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
:Experience with Accounts Payable processes.
:High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
:Strong Excel skills, with working knowledge of Oracle and Hyperion (HFM) preferred.
:Confident communicator, able to work with internal and external stakeholders.

Your background

:Studying towards or qualified in CIMA, ACCA or equivalent.
:3:4 years of progressive accounting experience.
:Experience in financial reporting, audits and statutory accounts.
:Additional European languages are a plus, but not essential.
