Overview
We have an opportunity to recruit a Band 3 Admin Support within our Children's Community Nursing Admin Team. We are looking for a dynamic individual with excellent communication, organisational and secretarial skills to support the administration function. You should have a positive and compassionate approach to patient care, be able to build effective working relationships, be approachable and flexible in work, and have a good telephone manner, high level communication skills, typing letters, digital dictation and attention to detail. You will work independently and as part of a team, with accurate record keeping in our full electronic patient record system.
Main duties involve providing an efficient and comprehensive administration service to support the wide range of nurses within the teams. You will work within a busy integrated and skill-mixed team and handle sensitive telephone calls and complaints with empathy. Team collaboration is essential for workload management and guidance on sensitive patient queries.

Qualifications
* Good General Education (e.g., GCSE English and Maths A-C)
* QCF Business Administration Level 2
* QCF Customer Service Level 2
Experience
* Experience of working with Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)
* Experience of working in a busy office or customer care environment
Knowledge & Skills
* Ability to manage and prioritise own workload and use initiative
* Excellent written and verbal communication and customer care skills, showing sympathy and compassion
* Ability to deal professionally with inquiries from staff, service users and stakeholders
* Problem solving abilities
* Understanding of confidentiality and applicable principles
